PRESS RELEASE
The Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) is pleased to announce the upcoming Men’s Junior AHF Cup 2026, scheduled to take place from 23 June to 1 July 2026 in Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan. The tournament will feature some of Asia’s most promising junior hockey nations competing for regional honours and development ranking.
This prestigious junior event continues AHF’s mission to promote hockey development across Asia and provide international exposure to emerging talent.
Participating Teams
A total of eight (8) teams will compete, divided into two pools:
Pool A
Korea
Indonesia
Sri Lanka
Tajikistan
Pool B
Thailand
Iran
Uzbekistan
Kazakhstan (Host Nation)
Match Schedule Overview
The tournament will follow a round-robin format within each pool, followed by classification matches, semifinals, and medal matches. Each team will compete in group-stage fixtures to qualify for the knockout phase.
Detailed fixtures, match timings, and officiating appointments will be released by the Local Organizing Committee and AHF in due course.
