The Women’s Asian Champions Trophy 2016 took place in Singapore from 29 October to 5 November 2016.
Every two years, the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy brings together the five best women’s teams of the continent for a battle for continental dominance.
Hosted in Singapore, at the top class facilities of the Sengkang Hockey Stadium, the tournaent saw India defeat China in a nailbiter of a final, with Japan claiming bronze, Korea finishing fourth, and Malaysia finishing fifth.
