The Men’s AHF Cup 2016 took place in Hong Kong China from 19 to 27 November 2016.
Eight teams competed for one available ticket to the 2017 Asia Cup, which in turn is a qualification tournament for the 2018 FIH World Cup.
At the end of the tournament, it was Bangladesh who overcame Sri Lanka in a thrilling final to claim gold and a place in the 2017 continental championships.
