3 matches were played on the second day of Under-16 National Hockey Championship 2020 organized by Pakistan Hockey Federation. Chairman Selection Committee Olympian Manzoor Jr., Member Olympian Khalid Hameed, Chairman Provincial Hockey Association and former IGP Muhammad Saeed Khan , Tournament Director Syed Zahir Shah, ‘Former International Player and Coach Yasir Islam’ Syed Zia-ur-Rehman Banuri and Olympian Rahim Khan were also present.
The first match of the second day of the event was played between Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Balochistan B, which Azad Jammu and Kashmir won 0-4. For Azad Kashmir, Usman scored two goals and Uzair scored one goal each. The umpiring duties in the match were performed by Altaf, officer, reserve umpire Sabteen Raza while judges Sheikh Ali Abid, Aslam Shah and technical officer Muhammad Yaqub performed the duties.
The second match was played between Punjab A and Punjab C. Wasim and Ahmed scored for Hinjab A while Hamza and Uzair scored one goal each for Punjab C. The duties of the umpire were fusion, Owais reserve umpires were great. Judges Muhammad Yaqub and Hamza while Aslam Niazi performed the duties of Technical Officer.
The third match of the event was played between Sindh B and Balochistan A which ended in a draw. Faraz scored for Sindh B while a lawyer scored for Balochistan A. Judges Sheikh Aslam Shah, Aslam Niazi while Hamza Tufail performed the duties of Technical Officer.
Under the auspices of Pakistan Hockey Federation, the National Under-16 Hockey Championship for the development and promotion of the national game under the Youth Hockey Development Vision will be held in Peshawar from November 28 to December 10. The PHF Youth Hockey Development Vision Four teams from Punjab while two teams each from KPK, Balochistan and Sindh will participate in the mega event. One team each from Islamabad, Gilgit, Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir are participating in the event.
