The second leg of the 2018 4 Nations Invitational Tournament will be held in Hamilton, New Zealand between 24 – 28 January. Olympic silver medalists Belgium, Asian Champions India, New Zealand and Japan, are the four participating nations.
In the first leg of the series, India finished on top of the group after the Round Robin stage, but lost to Belgium by 2-1 in the finals. Japan finished bottom of the table after facing a defeat at the hands of New Zealand in a 5-4 thriller at the final day of the event.
India will begin their campaign in the second-leg of the Four Nations Invitational Tournament in Hamilton at the Gallagher Hockey Stadium on January 24 against the hosts New Zealand coached by former Black Sticks midfielder Darren Smith. While Japan will face a strong and talented Belgium team.
