In the first day of the AirAsia Women’s Junior AHF Cup Singapore 2019, three matches have been played with a 14 goals scored.
In today’s matches, Uzbekistan had a good performance against Hong Kong China and won by 5-0, earning three valuable points.
The second match was between Sri Lanka and Chinese Taipei, giving the latter team its first victory by 0-6. The Chinese Taipei girls opened the score in the eighth minute, not giving a chance to the adversary to get back on its feet.
Meanwhile, in a more even and challenging match, Singapore defeated Bangladesh 3-0. Scoring all the goals during the second half, the host nation secured the game in their favor, earning three points.
