The semifinal lineup of the Bangabandhu First Security Islami Bank National School Hockey 2020 has been confirmed on 12th March, Thursday. Shahid Mamun Mahmud Police Line High School, Rajshahi (B Group Champion) and Armanitola Government High School (A Group Runners up) have registered their names in the last four, with big wins on the last day of the final round. The other two teams qualifying for the semifinals are – Government Zublee School, Dinajpur (A Group Champion) and Keramatia High School, Rangpur (B Group Runners-up). Both semifinals will be held on 14th April with the four teams.
The Bangabandhu National School Hockey 2020 Competition started nationwide from Saturday, January 26, under the management of the Bangladesh Hockey Federation and sponsored by the First Security Islami Bank Limited. A total of 80 schools are participating in the tournament, at 9 venues across the country. After the first round, The two best teams from every 9 venues took part in the final round (26th February to 7th March). 6 best teams from the 18 teams took part in the 2nd phase of the final round.
