Bangladesh Juniors beat Oman to win the Men’s Junior AHF Cup Muscat 2023. The sensational match was drawn by 1-1; Bangladesh claimed the title in shootout by 7-6, leaving Oman with Silver.
Earlier today, Bronze Medal Match was played between Thailand and Uzbekistan. Both played splendidly to level the match score 2-2; the battle was concluded on shootouts as Thailand claimed the Bronze by 2-1. Uzbekistan came 4th in the tournament.
Chinese Taipei won the 5th place beating Sri Lanka by 5-4; Sri Lanka were 6th. Indonesia won the 7th place leaving Hong Kong China 8th by a score of 3-1.
The tournament was played at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex Hockey Stadium in Muscat Oman. All the four above-mentioned final placement matches were played today on 12 January 2023.
