Lahore District Hockey Association organized the Second Chief of Army Staff Inter-District Lahore Hockey Championship at Defence Hockey Arena (Manzoor-ul-Hassan Hockey Stadium), Lahore Cantt. Today its final match was played between Rana Zaheer Club and BK Club, which proved to be very thrilling. Both teams attacked each other fiercely and showed excellent stickwork.
At the end of the game, the match was tied at 3-3, after which the decision was made on a penalty shootout. BK Club scored 3 goals on penalty shootout, while Rana Zaheer Club could score only 1 goal. Olympian Dr Tariq Aziz and Olympian Akhtar Rasool Chaudhary were the chief guests of the final match. In addition, there were many other celebrities to watch the match, including:
