CBS Sports to Air USWNT’s FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier Games


COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce that CBS Sports Network will air the U.S. Women’s National Team’s matches at the upcoming 2024 FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier, taking place in Ranchi, India.

The agreement with USA Field Hockey, CBS Sports and the International Hockey Federation (FIH) will bring field hockey action to one of the nation’s leading sports channels.

Programming on CBS Sports Network will cover only the United Eagles’ pool play games and crossovers. The No. 15 USWNT will start against hosts, No. 6 India, on Saturday, January 13 at 9:00 a.m. ET. Next, USA will face No. 19 Italy on Sunday, January 14 at 6:30 a.m. ET before meeting No. 9 New Zealand in their final pool game on Tuesday, January 16, at 6:30 a.m. ET.

Crossovers begin on Thursday, January 18, with the top two teams from each pool heading into a semifinal. The final will take place on Friday, January 19 at 9:00 a.m. ET, with both teams qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The third team to qualify will be decided in the bronze medal match, happening immediately before the final at 6:00 a.m. ET.
