Chief Minister Balochistan Gold Cup Hockey Tournament – Pakistan

Chief Minister Balochistan Gold Cup Hockey Tournament will be played from today, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan will inaugurate the tournament. The inaugural match will be played between Balochistan Keller and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

It came to happen under the Youth Hockey Development Vision, under the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs Balochistan, under the supervision of Pakistan Hockey Federation and Balochistan Hockey Association, and the Government of Balochistan.

The grand opening of Pakistan Chief Minister Balochistan Gold Cup Hockey Tournament will be held today. Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan will be the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony. The match will be played at Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Shaheed Hockey Stadium Quetta from March 23 to April 2.

Departmental teams, including the affiliated provincial units of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, will compete for the title. Famous Olympians and international athletes will showcase their talents on the field. The opening match of the event was played by Balochistan Klar and the match between Azad Jammu and Kashmir will be played at 3 pm. The match will be supervised by International Hockey Umpire Haroon Rashid and Umpire Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din while Sabteen Raza will be the reserve umpire.

A meeting was held with the team of technical officials, umpires and team managers and coaches appointed by the Pakistan Hockey Federation. The meeting was attended by his predecessor Aslam Khan Niazi, Dr. SA Majid as Assistant Tournament Directors.

During the meeting, the umpire manager of the event, renowned international hockey umpire Kamran Sharif Chaudhry briefed the umpires panel while in a meeting with the panel of team managers coaches including technical officials, tournament director Olympian Anjum Saeed briefed the participants about the rules and regulations of the event. The final of the event will be played on April 2.
