The Chief of the Naval Staff All Pakistan Hockey Tournament organized by the Naval Sports Directorate under the auspices of Pakistan Hockey Federation at Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium Karachi has entered its final stages. Four of the top eight teams in the Pakistan Hockey Federation have qualified for the semi-finals. In the semi-finals of the 3rd Chief of Naval Staff All Pakistan Hockey Tournament, the host team Pakistan Navy, defending champion National Bank, national hockey champion Pakistan WAPDA and Mari Petroleum will appear. The host team Pakistan Navy will take on the national hockey champion team WAPDA which will be played today, September 27 at 10 am while the second semi-final will be played between the defending champions National Bank and Mari Petroleum at 4:00 pm.
In order to promote the national game and revive the game of hockey, the Pakistan Navy has allotted valuable prizes to the players participating in the mega domestic event. In the history of Pakistan Hockey’s mega-domestic events, the Pakistan Navy has won the hearts of hockey fans and players by offering valuable prizes of Rs. 9 million (Rs. 9 million) for hockey players. Striving for the promotion and development of the national game of hockey, the Pakistan Navy has allocated the most expensive prizes in the history of domestic hockey.
In the 3rd Chief of the Naval Staff All Pakistan Hockey Tournament, the winners of the Man of the Match award for each match will get a sport watch worth Rs 12,000. For the best player of the event, for the first time in the history of national domestic events, a valuable plot worth Rs. 3 million will be given by the Pakistan Navy.
The winning team of the 3rd Chief of the Naval Staff All Pakistan Hockey Tournament will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1.7 million with a trophy, while the runner-up team will be awarded a cash prize. The semi-finals and third place man of the match players will be entitled to a cash prize of Rs 20,000 and a sports watch, while the players of the final teams will also be given gift hampers worth Rs 250,000. The prizes are worth almost twice as much.
