The Women’s U18 Asia Cup 2026 continued on Thursday with the classification matches taking place in Kakamigahara, as teams competed for final tournament placings.

In the 7th/8th Place Match, Chinese Taipei produced a strong performance to defeat Singapore 3-0 and secure seventh place in the competition. Chinese Taipei controlled key moments of the contest and finished their campaign with a well-deserved victory.

Later in the day, Malaysia claimed fifth place with an impressive 4-0 victory over Bangladesh in the 5th/6th Place Match. Malaysia delivered a disciplined and effective display, scoring four goals while maintaining a clean sheet to finish their tournament on a positive note.
