Asian Hockey Federation President, Dato Fumio Ogura would like to offer his sincere condolences on the loss of hockey legend and Olympian Captain, Abdul Rasheed Junior.
Dato Fumio believes this is a great loss to the Hockey Family, and re-calls Abdul Rasheed in his prime as a top goal-scorer who would stun and astonish audiences. He recalls that Abdul Rasheed Jr had a talent for hockey which remains unmatched to this day. Coupled with his hard-work, his talent lent him to the title of Hockey Legend.
He said that this is indeed an insurmountable loss and hopes that Abdul Rasheed’s family and loved ones can find the strength to cope with this loss.
