Tashkent, Uzbekistan – The FIH-AHF Level 1 Coaching Course continued its second day at the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Education and Sport in Tashkent, building on the strong foundation set on the first day. The course, aimed at developing skilled hockey coaches, saw enthusiastic participation and high levels of engagement.
The sessions were conducted by Zahid Ali, an experienced FIHA Trainer and Educator, who guided participants through advanced coaching principles and strategic methodologies. His interactive teaching style and deep knowledge of the game inspired coaches to enhance their skills and broaden their understanding of modern coaching techniques.
The course emphasized tactical and technical aspects of coaching, with a focus on:
• Game Strategy and Tactics: Understanding positioning, formations, and offensive/defensive strategies.
• Skill Development Drills: Practical demonstrations of advanced drills for improving player performance.
• Match Analysis and Feedback: Techniques for analyzing player performance and providing constructive feedback.
