The FIHA–AHF–MHC-Raja Ashman Shah Hockey Academy High Performance Umpiring Course will take place from 18 to 21 June 2025 in Kuala Lumpur alongside FIH Hockey Nations Cup Malaysia.
The course will be conducted by FIH Umpires Manager Muhammad Faiz , with support from Ravinder pall singh , a certified FIH Educator, who will serve as the Assistant Course Conductor. Both bring a wealth of experience in international umpiring education and development.
Over 21 high-potential umpires from across the Asia are expected to participate in the four-day intensive program. The course is designed to raise officiating standards and prepare umpires for top-tier international competition. It will focus on advanced match management, decision-making under pressure, use of video technology, fitness, positioning, and the mental aspects of umpiring at the highest level.
