First Regional Indoor Hockey Coaches Course successfully completed in Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Hockey Federation organized and completed successfully the first Regional Indoor Hockey Coaches Course on July 26th, 2019 under the AHF Education & Development Programme. The course was a huge success. The outgoing head coach of the national indoor hockey team, Hamidreza Bokharai, conducted the course as Chief Instructor.

In attendance were 35 people who included local coaches and Ex-players of hockey. Everyone learned from the course and was able to secure certificates upon completion of the course.

On the closing day, Abdur Rashid Sikder, Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Hockey Federation handed over the certificate to the 35 participants. Rafiqul Islam Kamal, executive member of the federation and coordinator of the course was present. In closing remarks, Abdur Rashid Sikder called for making this new format of hockey more familiar in Bangladesh.
