The Junior Hockey Team’s Fitness and Skills Junior Training Camp organized by Pakistan Hockey Federation will be held from February 12 to 24 at Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium, Karachi.
The purpose of conducting this training camp is to prepare the athletes for the Men’s Junior Asia Cup 2021 which will take place in July in Dhaka.
The Men’s Junior Asia Cup 2021 will take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 1 to 10 July 2021. The following Member National Associations are qualified for participation in the Men’s Junior Asia Cup 2021: Bangladesh, China, Chinese Taipei, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan and, Uzbekistan.
The Men’s Junior Asia Cup 2021 is a continental championship and a qualifying competition for the Men’s FIH Junior World Cup 2021 (host and venue to be announced).
According to the details, Secretary of Pakistan Hockey Federation, Olympian Asif Bajwa, under the supervision of Junior Hockey Team Head Coach Olympian Danish Kaleem, following the SOPs, Fitness and Skills Junior Training Camp will be held from February 12 to 24 at Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium, Karachi.
The camp will be attended by 14 players: Rana Waheed (WAPDA), Moin Shakeel (Sui Southern), Ghazanfar Ali (Sui Southern), Waqar Ali Goalkeeper (WAPDA), Mohsin Khan (Air Force), Umair (Mari Petroleum), Aqeel (Mari Petroleum), Abdullah Goalkeeper (Mari Petroleum), Ramzan Khan (WAPDA), Mohibullah (WAPDA), Murtaza Yaqub (Mari Petroleum), Muhammad Anjum (WAPDA), Hanan Shahid (Lahore), Ali Raza (Faisalabad).
The head coach of the hockey team will be Olympian Danish Kaleem (Customs), coach Olympian Sameer Hussain (Air Force) and video analyst Abuzar Amrao (National Bank).
