The 14th Vietnam Sixes took place in Ho Chi Minh City. The Vietnam Sixes is an indoor hockey tournament played outdoor with modified indoor rules. The objective of this invitational annual hockey festival was to bring together foreign hockey players and Vietnamese hockey players for a weekend of hockey and cultural exchanges. Organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Hockey Association (HHA), it has the support of the Vietnam Hockey Federation and Asian Hockey Federation.
Twenty-four regional hockey teams from Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Malaysia Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam participated in the hockey tournament.
