Based on the MOU signed between Iran Hockey Federation and the Student’s Sports Federation, hockey is now one of the disciplines of the Student’s Sports Federation which leads to a potential 15 million strong population for hockey in the country.
Dr. Reza Daghestani (an experienced hockey player and coach) and Dr. Ensieh Fanaei (also an experienced hockey player and coach) have been appointed as the heads of Boys and Girls Hockey Associations, respectively.
