Hockey India will be conducting educational courses as part of the induction programme for the New Umpires and Technical Officials in the Hockey India officiating system

Hockey India aims to develop and educate the Umpires/ Technical Officials currently officiating at district/ state level tournaments and provide them with an opportunity to progress to a Hockey India registered National Umpire/ Technical Official. Please find the attached document containing the details regarding the State Level Courses 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for State Level Panel Courses:-

 

i. For Technical Officials Courses – Age Eligibility up to 35 years

ii. For Umpire Courses – Age Eligibility up to 25 years

iii. Officials must not have any standing disciplinary action against them.

iv. It is mandatory for the applicants to have a minimum 2 years of officiating experience in State Level Championship.

v. Have a genuine interest in wanting to develop himself/herself as a Hockey India Match Official.

 

The selected Officials will have an Opportunity to:-

 

Receive Interactive learning/ study material to keep them updated with the latest FIH rules/ regulations.
Get assessed by the highly experienced team of Hockey India registered Technical Delegates/ Umpire Managers.
Officiate as an Umpire/ Technical Official at the Hockey India sanctioned All India Sub Junior & Junior category Tournaments & National Championships.
Opportunity to become a Hockey India registered National Umpire/ Technical Official on the basis of assessment done by the experienced Hockey India registered Technical Delegates/ Umpire Managers.
Become eligible to attend FIH Academy, AHF & Hockey India Umpires & Technical Officials Courses/ workshops.
