The 2026 Hockey5s Festival of Hockey got underway in Muscat on Wednesday, bringing together players from across Asia for a unique celebration of hockey, friendship and cultural exchange.
The Festival places participation, enjoyment and inclusion at the heart of the event, providing young athletes with an opportunity to experience international competition while building friendships across cultures and backgrounds.
Reflecting the values of equality and teamwork, all teams featured mixed-gender line-ups, highlighting Hockey5s’ commitment to creating an inclusive environment where every participant can contribute to the game.
Throughout the day, spectators enjoyed fast-paced Hockey5s action as teams showcased their skill, enthusiasm and sportsmanship in a festival atmosphere that celebrated the future of Asian hockey.
The Asian Hockey Federation extends its appreciation to all participating teams, officials, volunteers and supporters for contributing to the success of the Festival and looks forward to welcoming the next generation of players to many more Hockey5s events in the years ahead.
