Muscat, Oman – 21 July 2026: Day 2 of the Men’s Asian Hockey5s Championship 2026 produced another thrilling chapter in Muscat, Oman, with four exciting matches featuring dominant victories, dramatic finishes, and the tournament’s most anticipated showdown.
The headline match saw India defeat Pakistan 7–4 in a captivating contest that lived up to its billing as the biggest clash of the tournament. Both teams displayed attacking flair and relentless intensity, but India held the upper hand to secure a memorable victory.
Earlier in the day, India recorded the tournament’s biggest win so far, overwhelming hosts Oman 14–0 with a clinical attacking performance and disciplined team play.
In another closely contested Men’s Elite fixture, Bangladesh edged Oman 4–3 in a thrilling encounter, earning a valuable victory after a spirited challenge from the hosts.
In the Men’s Challenger competition, Iraq delivered a confident display to defeat Saudi Arabia 4–1, claiming an important win with a balanced performance at both ends of the pitch.
