The Asian Hockey Federation hereby announces the updated planning schedule for Indoor Hockey Competitions for the period of 2021-2024. Indoor competitions set to take place in this time period include the Men’s and Women’s Indoor Asia Cup, FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup, Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, SEA Games, and the Indoor Asia Cup.

2021
Event: Men’s and Women’s Indoor Asia Cup
Dates: 7-14 November

2022
Event: FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup
Dates: 2-6 February
Venue: Lièges (Belgium)
Event: Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games
Dates: 10-20 March
Venue: Bangkok-Chonburi (Thailand)
2023
Event: SEA Games (To be confirmed)
Dates: May
Venue: Phnom Penh (Cambodia)
2024
Event: Indoor Asia Cup (Note: This will be a qualifier for the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup 2025.)
Dates: January/February
Venue: TBC
The new dates have been decided after extensive deliberation in light of the pandemic situation and were seen as ideal because they served to minimize the health risks to athletes and the public.
