Iran showed why they are a class above the other teams as they demolished Uzbekistan 9-1 in the men’s semi final of the Asian Indoor Championship in Chonburi.
Ranked world number 4, the Iranians were a class act, playing a high level of indoor Hockey that was a joy to watch.
Their skills were mesmerizing while their passes were a delight, relying on the strength of the wrist to direct pin point passes.
Try as they did. Uzbekistan knew they had a mammoth task and soon felt the full brunt when Iran stepped up a gear.

The other Iranian goals were netted by Navid Taherirad in the 5th, 15th and 33rd minutes with Behdad Beiranvand getting the other in the 13th minute.
