Mr. Vijay Shankar Singh General Secretary Hockey Jharkhand, Manoj Konbegi Vice President Hockey Jharkhand, Rajnees Kumar CEO Hockey Jharkhand, Jayant Kerketta Secretary Hockey Ranchi, Mr. Randhir Kumar and other guests inaugurated the competition by getting introduced to the players and blowing balloons.
Chief guest sir, encouraging the players, said that Government of India and Jharkhand are continuously striving to advance sports and players including hockey, this competition is a big opportunity for young and both players.
Today first day 4 matches played in junior class and 4 matches in all junior class.
In the junior class
Hockey Khunti defeated Hockey Ranchi by 1=0, Hockey Hazaribagh defeated Hockey Palamu by 3=0, Hockey Bokaro defeated Hockey West Singhbhum by 11=00 and Hockey Simdega defeated Hockey Gumla by 7=0 to earn full points.
All in junior class
Hockey Ranchi defeated Hockey Khunti by 4=0, Hockey Bokaro defeated West Singhbhum 9=0, Hockey Palamu defeated Hockey Hazaribagh by 5=0, Hockey Simdega defeated Hockey Gumla by 7=0 and earned full points. All matches will be held tomorrow morning 6=30 at Bariyatu Girls School ground.
