Captain of the Karachi Women’s Team, Dua Khan, was the top scorer with 15 goals, Shazma Naseem of Karachi was declared the best goalkeeper and Saba of Larkana was declared the best player in the League.
Zain Ali of Karachi was the top scorer with 6 goals, Abdul Rafe Sajid of Karachi was declared the best goalkeeper, and Masim Zakir was declared the best player.

KARACHI, June 26, 2023 – Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori has said that the Prime Minister’s Talent Hunt Youth Program will bring a revolutionary change in the sports of Pakistan. I congratulate Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for taking steps to find talent in different sports across the country. He expressed these views while addressing the closing ceremony of Prime Minister Talent Hunt Youth Sports Hockey League.
Prime Minister Youth Program Talent Hunt Youth Sports Hockey League Sindh Region Men’s and Women’s Title Karachi won, Sukkur Region 2nd, and Larkana 3rd in men’s competition. In the women’s competitions, the Larkana team stood 2nd and the Shaheed Benazir Abad Region team stood 3rd position. Captain of the Karachi women’s team Dua Khan was the top scorer with 15 goals. Shazma Naseem of Karachi was declared the best goalkeeper and Saba of Larkana was declared the best player of the League. Zain Anil of Karachi was the top scorer with 6 goals, Abdul Rafe Sajid of Karachi was declared the best goalkeeper, and Masim Zakir of Sukhar was declared the best player.
According to the details, on the last day of the Prime Minister Youth Program Talent Hit Youth Sports Men’s and Women’s Hockey League, Karachi Region won the men’s and women’s matches. In the men’s match, the host team defeated Sukkur by two goals. Centre Forward Muhammad Usman of the winning team scored both goals. In the last match of the Women League, Karachi defeated Sukkar Region by 11 goals. The Captain of the winning team, Dua Khan, scored 7 goals including a double hat-trick, Saima Ghulam, Sehrish Sabir, Muqadsas Rafiq, and Momal scored one goal each.
Chief Guest Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori said that the efforts of Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif and Special Assistant for Youth Affairs Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja for the promotion of sports are commendable. The talent hunt program will be useful for the players in Pakistan. It deserves appreciation that under this program, the players of every city are being given ample opportunity to show their skills.
He said that the hockey talent hunt provided an opportunity to bring out the hidden talent of Sindh province and it was the best chance for the players from the remote areas of Sindh to come to Karachi to show their talent and abilities. He congratulated the winning teams and encouraged the runners-up to continue working hard for better results in the future. He expressed his determination that other sports competitions will also be started soon in Sindh province to involve the youth in positive and healthy activities. Kamran Khan Tessori also congratulated both the teams of the host Karachi region for remaining unbeaten in the event.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Sir Syed University, Prof. Dr. Vali Uddin, Vice Chancellor of Iqra University, Prof. Dr. Waseem Qazi, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Aurangzeb Khan, and Director of Sports Higher Education Commission Pakistan, Javed Ali Memon, Olympian Wasim Feroz, Olympian Sameer Hussain, Muhammad Ali Khan, Adnan Ashraf, Secretary of Sindh Hockey Association, Akbar Qaim Khani, Gul Faraz Ahmed Khan, and other office bearers of Pakistan Hockey Federation and Sindh Hockey Association were also present.
Director of Sports HEC, Javed Ali Memon, congratulated the Director of Sports of Sir Syed University, Mubashir Mukhtar, and his team for organizing such a great event. He said that after the Sindh Provincial League, the National League will also be organized successfully.
