Lahore Board Inter College Hockey Championship was won by the Punjab College of Commerce today. Hafiz Ephraim Hayat and Emad Nadeem’s excellent game also scored one goal each. In yesterday’s final, Superiors College could not score a goal. In the inter-college boys’ hockey final played on pitch No. 2 of the National Hockey Stadium yesterday, Punjab College defeated Spears College 2-0 to become the winner.
At the beginning of the final match, Punjab College of Commerce in the 8th minute, Emad Nadeem scored a beautiful field goal to give his team a one-goal lead. Hafiz Ephraim Hayat scored the second goal in the 27th minute of the match. The match ended with the same score.
International umpires Yasir Khurshid and Mubashir Ahmed supervised the final match.
