After the end of the TNB Malaysia Hockey League (TNB MHL) 2022 Championship last month, National Men’s Senior Squad Operator, A. Arulselvaraj today officially announced a list of 28 players called to participate in the National Men’s Senior Squad Training Camp.
The head coach of the national senior men’s squad, A. Arulselvaraj today announced the line-up of 28 players listed in the national senior men’s squad for 2022.They were observed, monitored and evaluated in the TNB MHL 2022 competition and the final list was made.The evaluation was not focused only on the national players but was also an opportunity for other players to prove themselves to challenge for a place in the national team.
The training session that started yesterday (Thursday, April 7) saw 25 players who had been with the previous national team while three (3) players who were not on the previous list reported themselves.
Mohd Zaimi Mat Deris, Mohammad Izad Hakimi Jamaluddin and Muhammad Shahril Saabah are three players who have been called back with the national team and through the list released today, the average age of the players called is 25.7 years old.
