The team’s first Olympic Game was played in Melbourne 1956, where they finished in the 9th place. Their best performance to date was during Munich 1972, where they finished in the 3rd place in their group stage but lost against Australia, ending in the eighth place.
The team currently holds the 11th place in the world ranking.
