Malaysia NOC looking to create ‘new history’ in new year

The Olympic Council of Malaysia has targeted medals in four major multi-sports events in 2025.

In a social media posted entitled “New Year, New Mission”, the OCM highlights the following four events during a busy year:

 

*9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China from February 7-14

*3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain from October 22-31

*6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 7-21

*33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Bangkok, Chonburi and Songkhla from December 9-20.

“Get ready for an exciting year ahead as we look forward to the multi-sports games taking place in 2025,” the OCM posted.

“The Olympic Council of Malaysia wishes the best of luck to all athletes who will be selected for these events and for every competition you will participate throughout the year. Let’s go and create new history!”

Malaysia will be busy preparing teams for these four big events during the year and also for the 34th SEA Games which they will host in 2027.
