Mr. Ali Zaman, Hockey Development Leader in West Asia and the Middle-East, visited the AHF Executive Office on the 10th of March, 2020 for a meeting with the Chief Executive, Dato Tayyab Ikram. Mr. Ali Zaman is a distinguished personality who in his hockey career has worked passionately for the development of hockey in Saudi Arabia.
The main topic of discussion was development of the sport in West Asia and the Middle-East, particularly in the country of Saudi Arabia. A detailed discussion about hockey in the region continued and the decision was made to formulate a Strategic & Development Plan. The purpose of this plan would be to analyze the status of hockey in the region so it can be determined how the Asian Hockey Federation can offer their help to the region.
