During a press conference, the President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, alongside Secretary General Rana Mujahid Ali, Oman Hockey Association Technical Director and International Relations Shakir Munir, Olympian and Pakistan Men’s Team Coach Tahir Zaman, as well as the Captains of both the Pakistan Senior and Junior Teams, Amaad Shakeel Butt and Abdul Hannan Shahid, shared the details of this upcoming visit.
The Oman Men’s Team will arrive at Lahore Airport on the morning of April 6 and will stay until April 14, engaging in four friendly matches with the Pakistan Senior and Junior Teams in Lahore. These matches are an exciting lead-up to Oman’s participation in the Men’s AHF Cup, which will be held from April 17-27, 2025, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
This series of friendly games will serve as a vital opportunity for both teams to prepare for upcoming international tournaments and foster stronger ties in the global hockey community. The Pakistan Hockey Federation is eager to host Oman and further boost the development and excitement around hockey in the region
