The 2nd Mari Petroleum Azdi Cup Hockey Tournament 2023 organized by Mari Petroleum Company Limited under the management of Pakistan Hockey Federation was being played at Lieutenant General Ashfaq Nadeem Hockey Stadium Ayub Park and ended with the victory of Pakistan WAPDA.
Pakistan WAPDA won the second Mari Petroleum Azadi Cup trophy by defeating Mari Petroleum by 3 goals to 2.
Chief Guest Chairman Fuji Group of Companies and MD Fuji Foundation Waqar Ahmad Malik (Star Imtiaz) distributed the prizes among the players at the end of the final match.

For Pakistan WAPDA, Umar Bhatta, Nadiya Arshad and Salman Razzak played a vital role in their team’s victory by scoring one goal while Sufyan Khan and Arbaaz Ahmed scored one goal each for Mari Petroleum.
Yasir Khursheed International and Ameer Hamza performed the umpiring duties in this match along with Asad Abbas and Irfan Tahir who were reserve umpires. Technical Officer Murtaza Bhatti along with Asif Baig, Hamza Tufail, Gulfam Khokhar, Akhtar Ali and Rafiqur Rahman performed the responsibilities of judges well.
At the end of the final match, the chief guest, Chairman Fuji Group of Companies, Waqar Ahmad Malik (Star Imtiaz), awarded the winner team Pakistan Wapda with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs.
