Pakistan WAPDA won the final of the first All-Pakistan Commissioner’s Gold Cup Hockey Tournament played at Multan Hockey Stadium under the supervision of the Pakistan Hockey Federation and with the support of the District Government Multan, District Sports Department Multan and District Hockey Association Multan. Pakistan Army got the second position and Pakistan Navy got the third position. Special guest Deputy Commissioner Tahir Vito and other honored guests distributed the prizes among the players. The man of the tournament was declared as the Hamad of the Pakistan Army.
The exciting final of the event was played between Pakistan WAPDA and Pakistan Army. The game was tied at 1-1 until the scheduled time. Amjad Khan of Pakistan WAPDA scored the goal. While Muhammad Anas scored a goal on behalf of Pakistan Army, later Pakistan WAPDA won by four goals to two through a shootout. Yasir Khursheed and Hafiz Atif Butt performed the duties of umpiring in this match. The reserve umpire was Irfan Tahir. While the technical official was Muzmal Hussain and the judges were Shafqat Malik, Muhammad Ali, Naseer, Umair, Mirza Mujahid. While Adnan scored a goal on behalf of Pakistan Air Force. Waqas Butt and Zahid Hameed performed the duties of umpiring in this match. The reserve umpire was Irfan Tahir. While the technical official was Javed Sadiq and the judges were Shafqat Malik, Naseer, Umeer, Munoor, Rao Nadeem.
