Tajikistan: A nation on the rise for hockey, celebrated the Olympic Day in style in different cities across the nation. President Tajikistan Hockey Federation Ms. Ekaterina and General Secretary Sherali lead the proceedings. Tajikistan Hockey Federation held a series of matches across the country to commemorate the spirit of the Olympics and invited all to participate. Men, Women, and Children came to show their support for hockey and commemorate the ideology of Olympics, one in which there is equality, peace, and harmony.
Afghanistan: The International Olympic day was celebrated under the title of Peace and solidarity in Afghanistan on June 23rd. Afghanistan Hockey President, Mustafa Sadat said, “Despite security threats and limited facilities, hundreds of athletes and sports founders participated in the event with enthusiasm. Among them, Hockey athletes from different teams including women and children. The event had widespread activities, and executive performance could shine well”. The event was such that it attracted more attention of Media and Olympic representative in Afghanistan. At the end officials of the Afghan Hockey Federation were encouraged and praised by the Olympic delegation for their hard work and determination to promote hockey in Afghanistan.
