Two matches were played on the second day of the Prime Minister Women’s National Hockey Championship 2026.
The first match was played between Punjab (A) and Gilgit-Baltistan, which Punjab (A) showed a brilliant game and defeated Gilgit-Baltistan 0-11. From Punjab A, Aswa Urooj scored eight goals, while Laraib scored two and Azwa scored one goal.
The second match was played between Star Women (B) and FD Islamabad, which FD Islamabad won 0-2. From FD, Zunira and Muqaddas scored one goal each.
The championship has 16 teams from across the country divided into different pools. The teams include Punjab A, Punjab B, Gilgit-Baltistan, Star Women’s Academy A and B, FD Islamabad, KPKA A and B, Women’s Sports Academy Mardan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir A and B, Olympian Zakir Women’s Academy, Sindh A, B, C, Balochistan and Islamabad.
