The Kazakhstan Hockey Delegation Meets Dato Tayyab Ikram at the Sultan Hotel Jakarta while the Men’s AHF Cup Jakarta 2022 is underway. The Asian Hockey Federation Director of Central Asian Region Mr Zahid Ali was the official representative on the occasion.
The delegation gave a briefing of the overall situation of hockey in Kazakhstan to Dato Tayyab Ikram. They mentioned their will to strengthen and develop the hockey in Kazakhstan and requested the assistance from the Asian Hockey Federation in this regard. Creation of more international participation and exposure opportunities for the Kazakh hockey athletes was pondered upon during the meeting. Kazakhstan also mentioned their interest in hosting international events in Kazakhstan. Among other topics discussed during the meeting were IOC Olympic Solidarity Grants for Kazakhstan and AHF Twining Programs.
It is worth mentioning that Kazakhstan is performing brilliantly in the Men’s AHF Cup Jakarta 2022.
