The Uzbekistan National U-16 Boys & Girls National Championship is taking place from 26 to 31 October, 2020. This youth level national championship is being played at the Stadium Barkamolavlod, AHF Polytan Hockey Pitch in Andijan Region.
After the successful completion of the Men’s & Women’s Under 18 National Championship that also took place at the Stadium Barkamolavlod, AHF Polytan Hockey Pitch Andijan, Uzbekistan.
The Uzbekistan Hockey Federation decided to involve and encourage the youth once again, this time with Under 16 youth level championship just two weeks after successfully concluding the U18 championship.
Today was Day 1 of this Under 16 Tournament, and the boy’s matches have concluded. Here are the results:
Samarkand region – Fergana region 2:5
Khorezm region – Namangan region 2:1
Andijan region – Tashkent region 5:0
The Asian Hockey Federation is full of support for such initiatives and is happy to see so many activities taking place at the AHF Polytan Hockey Pitch even in such unprecedented times of COVID-19.
