Asia Hockey Event Manager Development Officer Zahid Ali will give training in the program to be held at the headquarters of Nepal Olympic Committee in Satdobato.

A total of 30 people have participated in the program including coaches, judges & officials. The program will provide training on the technical aspects of hockey coaches & referees. Similarly, training on events management will also be given. Ali, who is in the role of coach, is also a former international player of Pakistan.

During the training, along with the theoretical knowledge of hockey, practical knowledge will also be provided. Jeevan ram Shrestha, President of Nepal Olympic Committee, inaugurated the program. On the occasion, he expressed his belief that the manpower generated from this training will develop the hockey game in Nepal.
