China were crowned champions of the 2026 Women’s Asian Hockey5s after defeating India 4–2 in an exciting Gold Medal Match in Muscat, Oman.
The final brought together two of Asia’s strongest teams following an outstanding week of competition. China produced a composed and clinical performance, combining disciplined defending with sharp attacking play to secure the continental title against a determined Indian side.
India fought hard throughout the contest and finished as worthy runners-up, while both finalists secured qualification for the FIH Youth Hockey5s World Cup, earning the opportunity to represent Asia on the global stage.
Earlier in the day, Kazakhstan claimed the Bronze Medal with an emphatic 9–0 victory over Iran, while Uzbekistan lifted the Women’s Challenger Trophy after defeating Pakistan 6–1.

The championship showcased the continued growth and competitiveness of women’s Hockey5s across Asia, with seven teams displaying exceptional talent, determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
