Day 4 of the Men’s and Women’s U18 Asia Cup 2026 saw three important group-stage matches take place in Kakamigahara, with Bangladesh, Chinese Taipei and India all claiming valuable victories as the race for the semi-finals intensified.
## Women’s U18 Asia Cup
Bangladesh secured their first victory of the tournament with a disciplined 2-0 win over Chinese Taipei in Pool B.
After taking the lead in the first half, Bangladesh continued to control key moments of the match and added a second goal after the break to seal all three points. KHATUN Mst was named Player of the Match following an impressive performance that helped guide her team to victory.
## Men’s U18 Asia Cup
Chinese Taipei recorded their first win of the competition after defeating Kazakhstan 3-2 in an entertaining Pool A encounter.
Leading 2-0 at half-time, Chinese Taipei produced a strong opening performance before holding off a spirited Kazakhstan comeback in the second half. LO Hao-Kai was named Player of the Match after playing a crucial role in the victory.
The day’s headline result came in the final match as India defeated previously unbeaten Korea 4-1 in a highly anticipated Pool A clash.
India led 2-1 at half-time and continued their impressive display in the second half, scoring twice more to secure a statement victory and strengthen their semi-final ambitions. Arshdip Singh earned Player of the Match honours following a standout performance.
