The action hasn’t stopped since the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup has started in Bhubaneswar, India. The 4 teams to book their spots in the semifinals are Argentina, Germany, India and France.
The level of competition was at its peak as Germany played Spain a 2-2 draw, the match was decided by a shoot-out victory with Germany winning 3-1 in the shootout. They will now play a very strong Indian side in the semis, who were also close winners against Belgium with narrow 1-0 score line.
Argentina produced a great result against the mighty Netherlands side, The crucial goal came from Argentina towards the end of the game, although Netherlands lost the game, the 12 goals scored by Miles Bukkens in the competition were a huge achievement.
France were comfortable 4-0 winners over Malaysia, who did a great job to reach the quarter finals, but a hat-trick by French team Captain ensured that there was only 1 winner in this quarter.
