*Gifu, Japan – 3 October 2026:* India were crowned champions of the men’s hockey competition at the *20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, defeating Malaysia **5-1* in the Gold Medal match in Gifu.

India completed an outstanding tournament to finish at the top of the final standings, while Malaysia secured the silver medal after an impressive campaign.
