Muhammad Waqas and Wasim Akam scored for Pakistan Army while Ali Sher scored the lone goal for Navy. The special guest of the match was Rear Admiral Abdul Basit, President Services Sports Control Board. A special commemorative shield was presented to the distinguished guest by the Pakistan Air Force.
According to details, Pakistan Army defeated defending champions Pakistan Navy 1-2 in a thrilling match in the second match of the Inter-Services Hockey Championship at PAF Base Peshawar under the auspices of Pakistan Air Force Sports Control Committee under the auspices of Pakistan Hockey Federation. ۔ Ali Sher of Pakistan Navy scored from the penalty spot in the 27th minute of the match.
