Iran showed why they are the dominant force of indoor hockey in Asia as they scored an emphatic 10-0 win over Kazakhstan in the final of the men’s competition of the AHF Asian Indoor Championship in Chonburi.
Iran, who are ranked world number 4 were obviously a class above other teams in the competition.
Imagine Iran was 6-0 ahead after just 7 minutes into the final, such was their supremacy.
They have won the title 8 tines now , since the tournament inception in 2008 and were unstoppable yet again.
But the way they celebrated was as if they win their first title, such was the response from a team that obviously means business on the pitch.
For the record the goals were scored by Nsvid Taheridad ( 2nd, 6th, 6th, 7th, 39th, 39th and 40th minutes), Reza Norouzzadeh ( 5th, 5th minute) and Amirmahadi Mirzakhanisn.
