CHINESE TAIPEI 1 VS UZBEKISTAN 4 (9-10th Place)
The first match of the day was between Chinese Taipei and Uzbekistan who were looking for the last and last place in the standings of the tournament.
The team in blue had possession of the ball for long periods until the 20th minute when KOMILOV Jamshidbek scored to make it 1-0.
The team in white wanted to do the same and only six minutes later managed to equalize with a goal by LEE Chi-Hsuan.
The team led by ISMAILOV Enver managed to come out on top and after 44th minute scored three more goals, scored by SALIMJONOV Shokhrukhbek, MADAMINOV Abdusalom and VAKHOBJONOV Mukhammadkodir.
The men in white tried to convert, but to no avail.
With the result 4-1 Uzbekistan took the 9th place while Chinese Taipei took the 10th place.
The best player of the match was Asad Bek.
INDIA 9 VS KOREA 1 (SEMI-FINAL)
The first semi-final was between India and Korea, both teams very tough and physical on the field.
The Indian team managed to take advantage from the 13th minute converted by Lakra Sunit, a goal that opened the door to the goal for the team led by KUMAR C. R.
The red team had some chances in the box, but the Indian goalkeeper did an excellent job not allowing the balls to enter his goal.
With control in their hands India managed to score 8 more goals throughout the match, scored by Hundal Araijeet Singh, Dhami Boby Singh x3, Singh Angad Bir,SINGH Uttam,SINGH Vishnukant and TIWARI Sharda Nand.
Korea managed to pull one back with a goal by HWANG Keonyeol in the 46th minute, but it was not enough for JANG Young’s team.
With this result, India moved on to the final and awaits its rival to find out who will be the great champion of this edition. Korea will play for the 3/4th Place.
The best player of the match was Dhami Boby Singh, scorer of the match and the player who helped his team to reach another final.
MALAYSIA 2 VS PAKISTAN 6 (SEMI-FINAL)
The second semi-final would be between two great powers of this tournament, Malaysia, and Pakistan.
Almost like an anticipated final both teams faced each other to reach the final of this Junior tournament.
In a really electrifying match with many goals, plays and action, Malaysia began to impose itself in the 21st minute with a goal by TANGARAJA Perabu to put the score at 1-0.
Pakistan tried their best to tie the match, but the Malaysian defense did an excellent job, and it was not until the 42nd minute that KHAN Mohammad tied the match to the relief of the Greens.
In the 44th minute, two minutes after the equalizer, Abdul REHMAN turned the game around and gave Pakistan a 2-1 lead. Just a minute later Muhammad Danish Aiman scored the equalizer for the Yellows.
After this back and forth, Pakistan stepped on the gas and managed to score 3 more goals against a strong Malaysian team, the protagonists of this agonizing victory sealing the match with those three goals were SHAHID Abdul and Abdul REHMAN x2.
With this result Pakistan moves on to the final with India and Malaysia will play against Korea for the third and fourth place.
