After defeating their opponents in the semifinals played at the Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium Karachi on Tuesday.
In the first semifinal Customs defeated NAB 5-2 in the shootout stage after 1-1 draw at the end of the match. Hamza Fayyaz from Customs and Aziz from NBP scored goals. Customs Guazanfar Ali was declared man of the match.
In the, one sided, second semifinal Mari Petroleum defeated PAF 2-0. Arshad Liaqat and Hashir Ali scored one goal each from the winners.
The chief guest of the first semifinal was Collector Pakistan Customs Asif Abbas while CEO of Aimal Builder Afzal Hameed was the chief guest of the second semifinal. On the occasion PHF Secretary General Rana Mujahid, President Punjab Hockey Association Olympian Asif Bajwa, Tournament Director Olympians Qamar Ibrahim, Kamran Ashraf, Anjum Saeed, Mohammed Ali, Assistant Tournament Director Aslam Niazi, Azmat Pasha and other officials of the tournament were also present.
