On 20 March 2022 the Asian Hockey Federation put up a massive show to celebrate the women leadership in sports and promote the contribution of women in sports.
Dato Tayyab Ikram the Chief Executive of the Asian Hockey Federation addressing the massive gathering of women narrated in detail the importance and vital role of women in sports. He explained how over the years the sports world has evolved and how the women leadership has vastly contributed to this cause.
The event was joined by the women leaders from around the Indonesia. Women in Sports Chair of NOC Indonesia Ms Susan Soebakti was invited as the guest of honour. Addressing the gathering she described how the women has contributed to shape the future of sports. She encouraged the young female athletes to shape their futures as the young sports leaders.
