The Oman Hockey Association hosed a dinner commemorating Women’s Asia Cup Muscat 2022


The Oman Hockey Association hosted a dinner in honor of all the officials, guests and the event partners for Women’s Asia Cup Muscat 2022. The dinner was hosted on 25 Jan 2022 in Grand Millennium Muscat.

There was a ceremony held before the dinner in which souvenirs were presented to the officials, guests and partners by the Oman Hockey Association. Later, the Asian Hockey Federation presented the souvenirs to the Oman Hockey Officials as a gratitude for their arduous efforts to successfully host the Women’s Asia Cup Muscat 2022.

The event started with an address from the President Oman Hockey Association Dr Marwan Juma Al-Juma. Dr Marwan thanked the Asian Hockey for the opportunity to host the Women’s Asia Cup Muscat 2022. He appreciated his team and offered his gratitude to all the officials and teams for giving Oman an opportunity to host them. He warmly expressed his willingness to organize and serve many more international hockey events.

Chief Executive of the Asian Hockey Federation Dato’ Tayyab Ikram offered his gratitude to Oman Hockey Association for their passionate reception. He thanked Oman Hockey for hosting Women’s Asia Cup Muscat 2022. He individually extended his gratitude to the staff and officials from the Oman Hockey Association and all other stake holders for their relentless efforts to make Women’s Asia Cup Muscat 2022 a huge success in Asia and all around the world. He exclusively thanked Dr Marwan for his tireless efforts to develop hockey in Oman at an exquisite pace. He thanked all the officials for providing their valuable services to make Women’s Asia Cup Muscat 2022 a success. He also mentioned that it was a big achievement in itself that despite a bad global pandemic situation, the AHF was able to deliver its 3rd event within less than 2 months’ time and hosts have a major role to play. Dato’ Tayyab thanked all the Teams for their participation in the tournament. He expressed his best wishes and great desires for a very bright future of hockey in Oman.
